Data protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please note that by submitting your personal data to us, you are accepting the terms described in our privacy policy.
Free discovery call
We offer a complimentary 30-minute discovery call to prospective students. Please note that this is not a free lesson, but an opportunity for us to get to know each other. During this call, we aim to understand your needs, goals, and motivations for learning French. It also gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have about our courses. Based on this conversation, we will provide guidance and suggest a personalised learning plan tailored to your objectives.
Payment conditions
The payment for the classes needs to be made at least 48 hours before the beginning of the class. The school or the teacher reserves the right to modify the hourly rate when necessary. In any case the student will always be notified 15 days before the change is applicable. Invoices will be issued at the end of the month and will be sent to students who wish to receive them.
Late arrivals
For private lessons, the teacher will wait for the student for a maximum of 15 minutes, if the student does not show up for the lesson after this time, the session fee will be charged, and the lesson will not be recovered. No refund will be made for the time missed. If the teacher arrives late, he/she will have to find time with the student to recover the time lost.
Postponement / Programme changes
The teacher and the student have the right to change the date of the lesson already established if this is done more than 24 hours before the start of the lesson. In this case, both parties must agree on the new date and time. If both parties cannot agree on a new time slot, the course will remain as initially scheduled.
Cancellation
We understand that students may need to cancel or reschedule private lessons due to unforeseen circumstances. However, each lesson requires a lot of preparation and therefore, if a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the class, the student will be charged 100% of the class fee and will not be able to ask for a refund.
If a class is cancelled by the teacher hours before the class time, the student will be able to recover the lost class free of charge.
Right of withdrawal
If you no longer wish to take a course and wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify your decision by email within 7 days. Any cancellations made less than 7 days before the beginning of the class will entail a 20% cancellation fee.
Marketing
We may contact you from time to time via email (or by another contact method you have provided to us) with information about a booked appointment, to offer a promotion, or to ask you to rate our services or provide feedback. We consider your having received services as consent to undertake this activity but you may opt-out at any time if you wish.
