I find it very hard with a busy schedule to dedicate time to French so I'm grateful that in the limited time we spend together you make sure I'm working hard and progressing while still enjoying. I appreciate how the classes are always interesting. I have a feeling you think from the students perspective in that you make sure you bring a variety of resources and topics to keep things fun which is very important for me to stick around to something for! I have had a fantastic learning experience with Jahnavi. She has helped me achieve so much over the last 6 months through reading, writing and verbal exercises. All of the lessons are so well thought through and organised, as well as based on interesting topics with tailored lessons on my own interests! Of the 50+ teachers I've had in my life across school and university, she is definitely in the top 5. - Uses a variety of learning methods to make sure her classes are a tailor made experience for you. In my case as I have ADHD, her style was specifically adapted to make sure I'm not losing track and getting distracted, and designed classroom exercises personalized to me. - Classes are highly interactive, you can see she put a ton of work into not just the lessons but also preparing before them. - Convenience and organization: You'll have a canvas classroom with all google drive notes, live class whiteboard notes, zoom recordings and google drive files, super easy to navigate. - Invests and shares a variety of different online resources that will save you a ton of time if you're looking to learn French in a time crunch as I was. - Extremely well versed with material and has the certifications to prove it. She helped me work through the TCF exam, with specific exam focused strategies and resources. My next goal is the DELF B2 and you best bet I'll be working with Jahnavi!

A few months ago now, I felt that I had significantly lost contact with French. So, not only did I miss the language but I also had a lack of confidence in my language skills. Earlier I found an account dedicated to French and all things French by one of my admired professors. So, I followed this account immediately. Luckily I also found a solution to my search for reconnecting with the language while also improving my fluency. The conversation classes by Oui to Français was an excellent choice on my part because after having completed 15 weekly sessions over a period of 5 months, I observed the progress I was looking for. To the extent that I'm considering teaching French as a second career. The conservation topics addressed were very interesting and always relevant. The documents prepared for the classes and the resources used and provided were always useful. I think a fundamental aspect of the classes by Prof Janhavi that I'll appreciate even after the classes are done is her patience and her belief in all her students, adapting thus to each student's pace. This is what I believe helps me in overcoming my anxiety of making errors and eventually improving my fluency.

I’ve been having French classes with Jahnavi for a few months now, and they have been fabulous! She really helped me come out of my shell as I was anxious and self-conscious to speak a single word at first. Each class is different, with a variety of fun exercises, and I always look forward to seeing what the new exercises will be for that day. If you have ADHD, this is essential for keeping you engaged and curious! Before I started classes, I was a bit on the fence about choosing a tutor whose first language is not French—but make no mistake, Jahnavi is highly qualified and a certified master of French. Furthermore, she has incredible insight into the common blockages and obstacles of French students, as well as how to solve them. This is a rare ability that you’ll only find in someone who has been in your shoes (albeit a long time ago)! Lastly, I also appreciate how she includes very modern and important discussions/topics in our class. This makes language-learning feel more realistic and less superficial. I got to know of Jahnavi from her wonderfully worded stories onInstagram. The “beaux mots” made me send her a message and voilà I signed up for her very detailed discovery call to then enrol into her 1:1 classes. I was struggling with confidence and fluency. My main aim was to make use of better words and expressions while speaking. I also had an ambition to read French novels but I couldn’t sum up the courage to read one. Jahnavi curated meaningful activities suitable to my learning style (auditory learner) and timely feedback helped me become more confident while expressing myself. The best part of it all is that I read my very first French novel for which Jahnavi resourcefully created thought provoking questions for me to ponder on and encouraged me to use my comprehension of the new vocab and expressions. Being an intermediate to bordering advanced learner myself, I would love to recommend all those looking to elevate their French language skills. Another thing I’d like to add is that I was a part of her comic books atelier which I thoroughly enjoyed!

Jahnavi is a wonderful prof who makes sure that every topic is taught in the most fun learning way. She even tailor-made the class for me according to my needs and learning capacity. I love learning with Jahnavi! I have so much respect for her love of French and learning. My husband is French and loves speaking with her, and often tells me her French is better than his! It's a huge boost of confidence to learn French because it helped me enjoy the journey, to make it my own, and overcome my fears of mispronunciation and confidence. Learning French with Jahnavi has been such a lovely experience ☺️ I genuinely enjoyed every class and really appreciated her warmth, patience and the way she makes learning feel so comfortable and engaging. As a neurodivergent person who needs the right balance of structure and novelty, Jahnavi’s classes really hit that sweet spot for me. She teaches language the way language should be taught—not by forcing repetitive exercises on you, but through real-world topics, creative games, and fascinating stories. With your head AND heart involved in the process, it’s almost like being tricked into learning! My vocabulary has expanded, I can express myself more easily, and even with my public speaking anxiety, I am stumbling over my words way less than I used to. Sometimes I even find myself expressing things in French without thinking about it! For an overthinker, that’s huge.

Her classes have conditioned my brain to think French = fun, and this has been a game-changer for my mindset, and therefore, my progress. It has inspired me to keep learning outside of class, and it makes the path ahead feel like an exciting challenge. I have so much sympathy for anyone who groans when they think of language-learning, because it doesn’t have to be that way. I have been studying French with Jahnavi for over a year now and can highly recommend her classes! She is attentive to each of her students learning styles. Her classes are creative and fun. I really notice how much my French has improved since starting to learn with Jahnavi. I now watch movies and read comic books in French. On my trips to France, I have been able to speak with locals. The classes really helped me to not have fears to make mistakes. My favourite are the comic book classes. They are a really unique and fun way to learn French.
